Scrum Exam Pattern
2 days of CSMĀ® training class would be followed by an online exam conducted by Scrum Alliance. Given below are some frequently asked questions about the CSMĀ® exam and certification.
Q. What is the exam pattern for the CSMĀ® Exam?
A. 50 multiple-choice questions based on the Scrum Guide. There is no negative marking and will get 1 hour to complete the exam. The exam timer can not be paused as before, but the question can be bookmarked to answer later during the 1-hour time limit.
Q. Do I need to go to the Prometric centre to take the CSMĀ® test?
A. No, the CSMĀ® certification exam needs to be taken online. You donāt need to go to a Prometric centre to take this exam. All you would need is a good internet connection and a laptop.
Q. What is the exam fee? Is it covered as part of the CSMĀ® Training fee?
A. CSMĀ® exam fee will be included in the fee that you will pay for the 2 days of the CSMĀ® training course.
Q. How do I register for the CSMĀ® certification training course?
A. There is no separate registration for the CSMĀ® exam after your CSM classroom training in Delhi NCR. Your trainer will upload your data once the training is over. You will get the exam link on your email ID.
Q. When and how do I take the Certified Scrum MasterĀ® exam?
A. You get 90 days to clear your CSMĀ® exam, starting from the last day of your CSM training. Most people can clear their exams on the second day itself. Itās up to you how quickly you want to finish and get certified.
Q. What is the CSMĀ® exam composition and passing percentage?
A. The CSMĀ® exam would consist of 50 objective type questions. You need to have 37 correct responses to pass. The passing percentage is 74%.
Q. What if I fail the CSMĀ® exam?
A. Scrum Alliance offers two attempts to clear the CSMĀ® Certification course in Delhi. 99% of the participants can clear in the first attempt itself. In case you fail in the first attempt, you can clear in the second attempt. The third attempt would cost you $25.
This has never happened to any of our participants. In case this happens, we will refund your training fee and invite you to repeat your CSMĀ® training in Delhi in our next available batch.
