- No agile experience is required as this is introductory training and certification built to educate you on agile and lean fundamentals and the Disciplined Agile tool kit with skills to immediately apply what you have learned.

How to get DASM certification?
The DASM virtual program will be delivered via a webinar platform (Zoom). Once you enrol, you will receive an email with Disciplined Agile Scrum Master virtual session details.

A. Disciplined Agile is a hybrid approach or a context-sensitive approach that can be applied at the enterprise level, and not limited to the team for agility. It considers various possible challenges that organizations might be working with i.e. the organization’s business model. It also provides a collection of options and good ideas which one can select from and by that one can create their context-sensitive enterprise-level ways of working framework.
Q. Who should do DASM certification?
A. If you are from a Project management background and new in exploring Agile-based working, DASM certification is a good starting point for you. DASM online live certification training session gives you insights on doing projects using an Agile development approach.
Q. What are the requirements for a DASM virtual live training session?
A. There is no specific requirement for attending this DASM online certification training. Disciplined Agile Scrum Master is an introductory training and certification on Agile and Lean fundamentals. However, having the working experience of project management can be helpful.
Q. How is the DASM certification course different from the CSM certification training session?
A. DASM certification training teaches you generic Agile with the help of examples of the various flavours of Agile like Scrum, Lean, Kanban and SAFe. It also spends a good time in developing an understanding of Disciplined Agile. If you are working in project management and want to develop an understanding of Agile, doing DASM is a good idea. However, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) gives you insights on how scrum works from the perspective of scrum master. If you are working in Scrum then doing CSM as your first formal education of Agile is a good idea.
Q. How is the DASM live virtual training session different from PMI-ACP?
A. PMI-ACP course is for professionals who have experience in using Agile approaches. The exam rigour of PMI-ACP is higher than DASM. Doing a DASM certification course helps you in setting yourself on the path of PMI-ACP if you wish to do it later.
Q. Can I directly give the exam for DASM without attending the training?
A. No, it is mandatory to take PMI’s Approved DASM training to qualify for the exam.
Q. Is the DASM exam/certification cost included in training cost?
A. Yes, the Disciplined Agile Scrum Master program gives you complimentary access to one attempt to give the exam.
Q. How many attempts does one get with the DASM certification training session?
A. You will have 60 days from the time you receive the exam link to take the exam. You may retake it two more times within that 60-day period if you do not pass the first attempt. However, there is a $150 exam retake fee. But don’t worry, our includes helps you to pass the exam in the first attempt.
Q. How many questions will be there in the DASM exam?
A. DASM exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions.
Q. What will be the DASM exam timebox?
A. The candidate will get a maximum of 90 minutes to complete the DASM exam.
Q. What will be the renewal process, cost, duration and process, if one earns DASM and has DASSM both. Will renewing DASM will renew DASSM also?
A. The renewal cycles for both DASM and DASSM are 1 year and the PDU requirements for both are 7. Renewal for DA certification is $50 per year. However, please also note that PMI’s membership renewal fee is different and separate than the certification renewal fee.
